FemmeRACE and FemmeFREESTYLE BMX PROGRAMS EMPOWER GIRLS TO RIDE! 

BMX is one of the newest OLYMPIC SPORTS! 

FemmeRACE is a program designed for females of all ages and abilities to participate and progress in the world of BMX racing in a motivating and friendly girls-only environment. Through the use of logical skill progression, girls and women can develop the skills necessary to become successful BMX racers at the sate, regional, and national levels.

FemmeFREESTYLE focuses on Park and Trails, the two most popular of the BMX freestyle disciplines. Riders will utilize facilities at local indoor skateparks (late fall and winter) and local outdoor trails (spring - fall) to learn the basics of Freestyle BMX in a guided, friendly environment. This program offers a progressive curriculum for the beginner who’s never had their bike on a ramp, through advanced rider who’s comfortable in the air, all while allowing the rider to develop and express her own personal style. 

Connie Jenkins Houlihan, owner/instructor, offers 45-minute lessons which include a 30-minute private lesson plus a 15-minute music technology lab session for $30/week.  In addition to learning piano performance pieces, students learn to compose their own piano compositions from the very first lesson. 

Connie believes that all people have music within them & it is her role to inspire that music to arise within them and to help them express their music.  Students study piano performance pieces, composition, music theory, technique and music history.
